UNSHAMED is a documentary born from the places we’re taught to hide. After years working as a therapist alongside people exploring their sexual fantasies—and the shame, fear, and tenderness that often live beneath them—Marc P’ridis realized how many of us carry stories we can’t say out loud. Stories that isolate us. Stories that distort our bodies, our pleasure, and our sense of worth.
In Mexico, during a solitary retreat in complete darkness, a series of visions arrived—explicit, unapologetic, and unsettling at times. Marc didn’t turn away. He listened. Those images became the spark for UNSHAMED: a film that dares to look directly at what society labels taboo, and to ask what healing could look like if we met ourselves without judgment.
Premiering in Guadalajara, Mexico, on October 31, 2025, the film quickly revealed its purpose: to move the line of what’s considered “acceptable,” widening the space for truth. UNSHAMED doesn’t aim to shock for the sake of provocation—it aims to liberate. It’s an invitation to exhale, to soften the grip of shame, and to remember a radical, simple truth: every part of us is worthy of unconditional love.
If you tell me where this will be used (festival catalog, website, press release, or trailer voiceover), I can tighten it to the exact length and tone.
