Red reminds me of solitude
_refracting red_
In recognition of AIDS Memorial Day, this immersive experience explores the complex emotional landscape of living with HIV, with a particular focus on the often-overlooked theme of loneliness.
Refracting Red
Expanding on the traditional associations of red with HIV/AIDS, our exhibition invites viewers to consider a broader spectrum of emotions and experiences. From intimate moments of connection to profound isolation, we examine how the colour red can evoke a myriad of feelings for those living with HIV.
This multifaceted exhibition features visual art, video installations, live performances, and interactive spaces that invite visitors to explore the full emotional spectrum of the HIV experience.
Through the works of international artists and local voices, "Red Reminds Me of Solitude" creates a space for reflection, dialogue, and connection.
Loneliness in Focus
Central to our exhibition is an exploration of loneliness as an often unspoken aspect of living with HIV. Through visual art, film, and interactive installations, we delve into the isolation experienced by many, while also highlighting the power of community and connection.
